Call for Applicants: Racial and Environmental Justice Committee
Last month we announced our partnership with the City of Providence, Groundwork Providence and the Environmental Justice League of Rhode Island to bring an equity lens to the City’s Sustainability Plan. In this project, 1SW is joined by Linnean Solutions, Emersion Design, Oredola Consulting, Consensus Building Institute and The People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond.
In any project, our approach always begins with engaging community stakeholders. Our partners all agree that any meaningful progress will be the result of local collaboration. In the spirit of that belief, the Racial and Environmental Justice Committee is seeking applicants. Members of this committee will work together to provide recommendations that ensure that the the city's sustainability agenda equitably benefits all of Providence's vibrant communities.
If you or anyone you know lives in Providence and wants to play an active role in shaping the city's future, apply here. Please share this call to action!
